Making Money

Earn cash with quick passenger trips, then raise company income through dispatch contracts. If you're looking for the best way to get money in Taxi Boss, start with passengers your car can actually carry, then reinvest in your employees and their vehicles. Once you have employees, return to your office and upgrade the Dispatch Center to Level 4 to unlock contracts.

How do you make money from passenger trips in Taxi Boss?

Pick up passengers within your car's rating and deliver them quickly: customers pay more when they reach their destination sooner, and better customers can pay more too.

  1. Match your car to the passenger. One player with a 3.1-star car couldn't pick up 3.3-star customers, but could take a 3-star customer. If you keep getting refused, find a passenger your car can serve instead of spending more time on the same pickup.
  2. Follow the destination marker and map. Once the ride starts, focus on getting there quickly. A wrong turn adds time to a trip whose payout rewards speed.

Ride Started appears above the taxi; the destination marker and map point you toward the drop-off.
  1. Collect the fare and repeat. One player's early delivery paid $678. That is an example trip payout, so don't budget as though every ride pays the same amount.

  1. Improve your car when passenger ratings hold you back. A better vehicle expands the customers you can take. Compare Taxi Boss best cars before choosing your next purchase.

Passenger type can matter as well. One player had a 1.3x multiplier with an engineer and reported 1.5x with a doctor; that engineer trip paid $1,743. Treat those as individual results rather than a fixed fare table. For the doctor pickup, see Taxi Boss doctor spawn.

How do you get rich in Taxi Boss with employees?

Keep employees earning while you drive, and train them when their skill or experience prevents them from using a better car.

Open an employee's Driver's Car menu and look at the vehicle choices. If the car you want requires training, improve the employee first, then assign the better vehicle. The menu distinguishes Train: Skill from Train: Experience, so follow the requirement on that vehicle rather than spending blindly.

Vehicle cards show which choices need skill or experience training before the driver can use them.

One player's employees were earning $515/min while the player continued playing. That gives you a reason to improve the company alongside your own taxi: passenger trips bring in cash while employees keep working. Your total depends on your drivers, vehicles and assignments.

Don't assume a new car alone solves every company bottleneck. If you're aiming for a particular contract, check its requirements before investing. You may need employee training, more vehicle horsepower, or both.

How do you unlock and choose dispatch contracts?

Upgrade the Dispatch Center to Level 4, then assign eligible drivers to contracts that improve on their current income.

Return to the office and unlock contracts

Collect cash from your company vault if you need it for upgrades, then open Dispatch and upgrade the Dispatch Center. The contract lock says Requires Dispatch LVL 4. Check the dispatch level, since this unlock belongs to the Dispatch Center.

Compare contracts with each driver's current earnings

Read the contract's per-minute reward before assigning anyone. One player compared drivers earning 219 and 263 with a contract offering 388. The useful upgrade is an assignment that pays more than that driver's current work and accepts their vehicle.

Check rating and horsepower before assigning

Open the contract details and check both the rating and horsepower requirements before pressing Assign Driver. If a driver's car falls short, choose another eligible contract or improve the car before trying that job again.

Check the company total after assigning drivers

Open Company Stats to see the effect of your assignments. One player's company income rose from $515/min to $1,168/min after dispatch upgrades and contract assignments, more than doubling that setup's previous income.

Company Stats puts the income rate beside Company Vault, so you can check the total after changing assignments.

Compare the next upgrade with the work your drivers can actually take. The same player later reported $1,184/min after more dispatch upgrades, but still ran into horsepower requirements. More dispatch levels won't make an underpowered car eligible for a contract.

You now have passenger fares coming in while your company earns from suitable assignments. Keep your next purchase tied to a passenger or contract you want to unlock. If you also want a cash top-up between runs, check Taxi Boss codes.
